@overpackedsuitcase: • 🧳 PISA TRAVEL GUIDE ⬇️: 🤍 Pisa is so much more than just the Leaning Tower of Pisa - let me show you. Instead of doing just a day trip there from Florence, I decided to do a one night stay and I could not be happier for that decision. In fact, I wish I had enough timer for a two night stay. In the 24 hours I was there I: 🚶‍♀️Strolled around the town and came across so much beautiful architecture. 🛕Visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the afternoon on the day I arrived and climbed the tower. Definitely recommend as the views are beautiful. 🍞 Stumbled across Il Vecchio Forno (i.e. “The Old Bakery”) and OMG are we happy we did! We ate the most delicious biscuits and Panforte di Pisa (a cake with orange peel, citrus fruit, melon, almond and other spices). 🥘 Explored some more before heading to the most wonderful restaurant for dinner called “Osteria di Culegna Pisa”. It had the most delicious food! Felt like we were eating homemade food. We loved it so much we didn’t leave a crumb on our plates. The food was amazing and I could see why. We met the owner and chef and my goodness she was amazing!
