FIRST ONE IS HUGE 👏 I think people take that literally, ironically, that struggling socially automatically means no friends etc. it often feels unnatural and I have to attempt to be ‘natural’ at it

The social one varies a lot. Some autists have great social skills, but there are more hidden issues with some people.

My child is autistic and is extremely verbal and has a best friend. Socialization isn’t his issue as much as food. It’s a spectrum for a reason.

I always had a group of friends as a kid but wasn’t necessarily popular. All of us didn’t really fit in with the rest of the kids at school and we kinda did our own thing.
