my siblings & i grew up poor & had free meals, so it really saved my mom some $. still had our 💧&⚡️turned off sometimes but at least we ate lol

I grew up super poor and there was no free lunch program. I hated lunch time and often hid away from my friends until they were done eating.

Definitely is all dependent on how much parents care. Growing up we had amazing lunches, I never understood why other towns didn’t like it.
