I went to portage park with my girl and had her on a 50 ft lead so she could run around and people looked at me so funny while they let their dogs run buckwild!!! I could never until she’s ready

Do you have advice for what to do when an unleashed dog comes rushing toward you and your leashed dog? It scares my dog and I never know what to do.

This. I was in a closed yard BY MYSELF and because I found food on the ground, he stayed on leash. We ended up leaving because he really wanted to eat

My dog is completely off leash trained, but I still clip his leash on when I see other people with dogs. I think it’s just respectful

It took me 2 years to train my dog to be solid off leash and I still leash him back up when I see untrained dogs approach just in case.
