This bathroom has been a JOURNEY! When I first moved in to my #fixerupper I didn’t have a huge budget to work with, but I still wanted to give this bathroom a little refresh. A bought a couple gallons of paint and set out to give this bathroom a whole new look for cheap! The vanity had clearly seen some things, but for the tike being I just covered up the damage with trim. (This was mistake number 1 lol) After I finished the project y’all let me know there was probably mold hiding under there! So a few weeks later I went to investigate and …. YOU WERE RIGHT! I felt like the next best step would be to just go ahead and redo the entire bathroom (it looked like the shower was leaking a bit too). I wasn’t planning on renovating that space any time soon, but this felt like something I couldn’t avoid. SO I set out to renovate this bathroom by myself to keep the costs down 💪 and almost immediately I felt in over my head 😂 I did get some help with the plumbing and new tub, but besides that I did everything else DIY style! Clearly things did not always go according to plan, I’m looking at you kitchen ceiling lol but after a few weeks of hard work this bathroom looks SO GOOD! I had so much fun designing this space too!
