@saridiskin: Toddler vacation tips ⬇️ Vacation looks SO different with a toddler, it was so worth it! Sure, it was less restful, a little hectic and came with lots of STUFF - but we made the best memories! 1. Manage your expectations. You’re likely not going to be lying on the beach alone for 3 hours reading or enjoy quiet lengthy dinners into the late evening. But you will laugh a lot, maybe cry and hopefully have silly fun along the way. I find toddlers just explode in so many ways when they are in new environments and it’s so fun to experience that with them. At least, I try to see it that way. 2. Take turns for alone time. We did a lot as a group, but we also divided up our time so that everyone could have a little time to themselves and relax. Helped recharge! 3. Be flexible with schedules because you cannot control it all. Being on off timing for naps and bedtime is bound to happen. Surrendering to the “flow” doesn’t come as natural to me, but in the end it worked out. I was less stressed!
