My parents used to practice this but usually at home cause we couldn’t always afford to go out. Big thing was that if we ever ate at a friends house1/

Any tips on how to teach your kids to behave in class? Kiddo cannot sit still in computer lab and the teacher warned me of a possible write up because of his disturbances

I also think it’s setting those same expectations at home. If you let them scream and throw stuff at dinner at home how are they supposed to know they can’t do that anytime they eat?

As a server am I annoyed with some kids? Absolutely! Will I be patient with kids trying to order for themselves? Absolutely!

We go on off times too. Lunch at 11 or early dinner at 4. The blue hairs are there and love them but we aren’t interrupting anyone’s date night, etc

Agree - we have taken our kids out since they were babies and they’re very well behaved in restaurants.

This is good advice. We do coffee shops and bring chase and skye figurines so they can have a snack too

We practice with our kids individually! Less daunting than bringing 2 & 4 year old in, and they get the expectations while having solo time

My husband and I love to go out to breakfast with our kids. Usually very casual, and typically not super busy during the week.

I think also choosing to take kids out for the first time during less busy times, and not during 7pm dinner on a Friday night when the restaurant is packed

il pediatra di mio nipote ha detto di portare il bimbo fin dalla tenera età in ristorante, per abituarlo all'educazione.
