@av.home: This is probably the most raw & personal aspect of my life that I’ve shared, but a good friend told me “Sharing things often make them easier to carry”. Fertility journeys are emotionally draining as they are, so the next time you feel the need to ask a woman “why don’t you have kids yet?”… DON’T. You never know the battles a person is fighting behind closed doors & whether it’s by choice or a reason beyond their control, an explanation isn’t owed. I’m tired of shutting the door on this room. Neglecting it has been a coping mechanism & this dumping ground has simply served as a reminder of what we don’t have. This room is a great size & gets drenched in natural light, so I want to do it justice. Though I intended for it to serve a different purpose, I need to make use of it now & I hope you’ll stick around as I figure out what exactly that is.
