It all happened since Covid. But parent have quit parenting and handed electronics over as babysitters. It’s gotten worse and this year I am seeing it even more than last year.

It has definitely changed. Year 23 here in NY. I'm exhausted from teaching, but the pension is too enticing to leave at this point.

Yup- 30 years in right now. Parents are not investing, they just drop the kids off and they’re GONE.

I don’t think it is from COVID. I 110 percent believe it is PARENTING and the lack of!!! Parents don’t parent, they give their kids a screen. 😭 Kids don’t know how to self -regulate their emotions….
