Yup. I don’t do cams of those. Just motors. By the time all that shrapnel has gone through the bottom end the motor is done.

Just curious but I’ve got a 1994 Chevy c/1500 and when ever I come to a stop light it idols real low almost not at all and then jumps back up what could be the problem?

Check the oil control valve for metal. If there’s metal in there it needs a engine

If there is metal shavings in your oil control vave. Then you need an engine. If there is metal there. That means there’s been metal thru-out every bearing in the engine.

my ram 09 got new cam and lifters at 206,000 under lifetime Power train warranty. dodge replace it for free. if the engine blows,free replacement

I’ve had to do plenty of Demi engines. Usually because cylinder 7 roller seizes and takes out the cam. Probably due to lack of maintenance. Just weird it’s mostly cylinder 7

nope your problem is you didn't delete the MDS system that's what's causing lifter failure, lack of oil flow to certain lifters during non MDS operation
