I've got a 2005 5.6 gas titan that I frequent pull over 4k lbs with. Their 5.6 was SOLID. The cummins thing was a fail unfortunately.

I’ve heard before that Cummins designed this engine to fail as they didn’t want to partner with Nissan. But Nissan gave them a lot of money.

I would like to see the cause of that snapped crank. I have the same motor with 120k on it. I have had zero issues and it pulls my boat like a dream

I couldn’t picture myself owning a diesel truck. I get that some may need it for towing & stuff. Yet, I rather tolerate the hustle than owning one..

mine has made it 164,040. aside from normal maintenance, only thing I've replaced is the HVAC blower
