back in the 80s/90s they put the interpreters in a small screen at the bottom. tvs have captions, but idk about in person viewing.

It’s a producing choice to center an ablest viewpoint. It’s so easy to stage the film presentation so it includes the Sign Language interpreters. I purchased a MLK day show for years and included ASL
