I devoured this book, I think that it was because all the hype as I still feel so confused by the story, even after reading the ‘bonus chapter’ it still left me not knowing. The storyline was good, there were alot of questions I still have unanswered, like the sleepwalking, what was the relevance as it was only mentioned then not touched upon again. She was a dull character that was not really built up over the story, I never really understood why she was a loner and had such a dislike of people. I felt Jeremy’s character was unrealistic, having lost Chastin & Harper and his wife is left brain dead, he seemed to go about his life, and didn’t seem to be written as a grieving father. My favourite part was the letter, it was a twist I hadn’t seen coming, but it didn’t invalidate anything but instead made me re evaluate the story over and over. So I think first time Jeremy found the manuscript he was overcome by rage that he drove her car into a tree. Second time knowing Lowen also read it, he then killed her.
