For it to be proper Gravlaks, you need to put it under pressure. Just put something heavy on top. Gravlaks translates to burried salmon, so it needs the downward pressure of the "dirt"

U don’t need to take the skin off, its usully always on when making gravlax, and the dill goes on top of the salmon and almost covers it
