@workingbullterriers: Training Spot day 6 Today Spot trained outside for the first time.He learned 3 new agility obstacles.He practiced focus,place command and learned that he must sit after coming to me when I call him.Today was his first time on tha big A frame and he did great.Notice how I move my hand and sometimes even my head when we are working the focus command.I am doing so because movement helps to keep him focused on me.While doing so I also praise him and encourage him to stay focused.Staying focused for so long at his age is not easy at all.Staying focused in a new enviroment wit h so many distractions cats,chickens,another person and dogs barking in the backround makes it even more difficult.That's the reason I move my hand while I praise him and encourage him to stay focus, I use everything I have to get the result we are after.He managed to stay focused no matter the distractions.We are very proud and impressed by his progress! As I have said before this video is not ment to be an instructional video.We just share Spot's progress wit h you.If you are not 100 % sure you know how to train a puppy so young it is better to avoid training at this age than make mistakes.
