@consistentlycurious: 🌋This is unboxing like you have never seen before! 📦 I was honored to be invited by @cincymuseum to witness the unboxing of one of the original artifacts from Pompeii. 🌋 Starting Feb 16, Pompeii: The Exhibition, opens at the Cincinnati Museum Center and the team has been hard at work getting every artifact into position. ⭐️Fun fact: The team that travels with the exhibition is incredible! There are archeologists, museum curators, representatives from the Pompeii Archeological Park, and so many more! Seeing how much care goes into packing, transporting and unboxing each item is astonding and gave me a deeper appreciation for the exhibitions that make their way through our city. 🍷The beautiful artifact they pulled out was often used to serve wine that was mixed with water.
