During a recent appearance on “Kimmel,” Perry said she wanted to “go see the world.” The announcement came as she promotes the show’s 22nd season. Perry explained, “It's connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat.” The “California Girls” crooner teased that new music may be on the horizon, saying she’s been in the studio. Perry joined the show in 2018 when it was revived on ABC after 15 seasons on Fox.
