@enchantednanny: Children must be kept rear facing. In every instance it is the safest way to travel with them. There is so much survivor’s bias surrounding carseat safety. I will always do my best to spread awareness. #parentsoftiktok #carseatsafety #rearfacing #carseatsafety #carsafety #travelwithbaby #babysafety
the way iv seen some kids rear facing with their legs all a quashed, each to their own mine was forward facing from 15 months

I don't think it should be just by age but by heights. my son is just over 2.5years old and the height of a tall 4years old.

My son is almost 1 and his legs are all squished rear facing so I moved him forward facing and he is a lot happier having more room cried cause he was uncomfortable

my baby 30lbs at 9 months, I'll try to keep it rear for as long as I can but she will exceed weight for rear before age 4

I've been seeing new cars that came out with the second row seats that you can turn all the way around! Now they can stay RF until college!

It should be what is recommended for the particular car seat, which considers both age and weight.

These comments are ridiculous. They are literally telling you how to keep your kid safe & your response is "but they can't stretch their legs" 🙄 ffs

I was involved in a car accident with a horse&trailer on the 31/03/2024. Fortunately my 5month old was rear facing and he was safe from it all. I'm still recovering from the Shock, Thank God 4Life.

I get it. But some cars just don’t have the room for extended rear facing car seats and parents may not be able to afford the new car

Professional carseat consultant here 👋. The ONLY way a RF child would become injured/fatal, would be if you were to reverse at high speed into a wall

I’d rather my kids have broken legs from rear facing over being dead 🤷🏼♀️

The comments shock me! Survivors bias! Just because you did it and your child was fine, doesn’t mean it’s safe! If you don’t want to learn then fine, but there is absolutely no denying the evidence!
