What if I told you —that if you actually paid attention and waited for your dog or puppy to do a wanted behavior (sit, lie down, go to bed, etc)and gave affection THEN, that you can actually teach your dog to do THOSE behaviors when seeking attention. The real question is, can you resist the urge to give your dog or puppy “free attention” when they demand it by jumping, barking, nudging or pawing at you?
