When this happens, you can change the center of gravity and the body’s contact points by holding your baby’s bottom, as I do in this video. Gently push down towards your feet and at the same time down towards the floor. When you make this small movement, you’re helping to activate the lower abdominal muscles, which helps the muscle synergy needed for good, strong tummy time.
