@lesliesoldano: I barely knew how to use a drill when we bought our house 2.5 years ago. I knew there were changes we wanted to make, but buying in the height of the crazy housing market meant no budget to pay someone to do it. So, I learned as I went and I did it myself. A lot of mistakes were made and plenty of these are “band-aid” fixes until we are ready to spring for more permanent upgrades.
