@ramalauw: This video is obviously scripted, but the script truly came from the heart. Living abroad is exciting; it opens you up to new experiences, people, and perspectives. On the flip side, though, it’s scary. It means never going back to the person you once were. It means looking at home (and the world) through a very different lens. I believe part of living away from home is that it alters your definition of home. Somehow, your hometown is no longer a place you belong to, but the new place doesn’t feel completely like home either. Home becomes the people who share the same experiences as you.
