great job. i see no problem with letting oil get behind the bearing and make it easier to spin and misalign the oil port

This is beautiful. The more lubrication the better. But big end bearings need that extra lubrication. A mod for that would be boss🙂✌️

Improving oilflow will drop the pressure, not raise. Oilports at the mains are limited size to keep the pressure present in all positions of the crank. So be careful with that. I would not gain diam.
