for language teaching, you need 15 credits in literature during your undergrad for the masters. this is not something that students are made aware of!

And subbing money is great for students too! I didn’t know about that before my PME. Nearly €40 per hour for unqualified teachers which helps cover fees

And to teach JC science you used to have to have 10 credits in each of the sciences. I paid to do extra module. I was 5 short physics and 5 Chen. Now the TC have removed that requirement 🙃🙃🙃

DFE England offer bursary’s up to £30,000 to teach certain subjects. Thats what I’m doing and plan to move back to Ireland! 🙌🏻
