@meggrowsplants: Butterfly pea LOVES heat, and is grown in the summer unlike other peas that are usually grown in cooler weather. This medicinal plant can make a delicious and healing tea, but also can be used to add some fun into cocktails, mocktails, lemonade, you name it. It’s really easy to harvest the flowers, dry them, and store them for later use. I’m still using butterfly peas that I grew last year! Cocktail recipe: 1.5 Oz butterfly pea tea 2 oz dry gin 0.5 oz simple syrup 0.5 oz lemon juice 1 egg white #gardeningtips #gardentips #gardenseeds #gardening #backyardgarden #gardeninspo #cocktails #drinkgram #farmtotable #gardenrecipes #gardentok

How beautiful!! Where is it native to? Is it container friendly? If I grow specialty plants I like to contain them. TIA!! 🫶🏼

When you say it loves heat, how high are we talking? It gets over 100°f here for months in the summer.

you can make rice turns to blue. In Malaysia we called the rice "nasi kerabu" 😁
