According to Love Santos, mother of Dani Andrea Daquigan, it was an unexpected and surreal experience for her and her daughter. "Basta random lang 'yon. Tinawag lang kami sa seat namin, pinalapit kami sa stage tapos pina-akyat si Andi sa stage. Then tsaka namin nalaman na siya pala 'yung napili sa 22 hat," she shared with The Philippine STAR. Influenced by her mother who is also a Swiftie, Andrea has been a certified fan since she was seven years old. So when the once-in-a-lifetime moment occurred to her, the Swiftie in the little girl could not help but cry, according to Santos. "Parang dream lang daw 'yung feeling, parang hindi real. Then [during that moment] binigyan niya ng friendship bracelet si Taylor [tapos] sabi sa kanya "Can I hug you?" and then "I love you." Parang Barbie rin daw si Taylor [with her] blue eyes.
