@thatdialectcoach: ✨️ Guess the Accent: Tan France ✨️ I don't know about y'all, but I am late to the game in watching the newest season of Queer Eye, and ever since I started this coaching account it's like I'm seeing the show with completely fresh eyes. There's so many unique regional dialects, not the least of which from the Fab 5 themselves. Tan France has always been one of my favorites on the show. He has a very deliberate way of speaking that for the longest time kept me from noticing all the unique regionalisms in his voice, of which there are many. Perhaps the most obvious is the /ʊ/ vowel in words like "husband" that make it sound more like "foot" than "cup."
