FA here. Can confirm the coffee and tea is a no for me. The ice comes in a bag. If you have a sanitary FA, you’re good.

I'm a provisiong agent for Southwest Airlines i handle all the drinks ice etc for planes we have dedicated people who stay and make ice and wear all the proper hairnets and gloves and bag all the ice

Speaking as an FA… our ice is provided at each airport station in ice bags. So extremely safe. Can’t say the same for the coffee and tea…

As a flight attendant, never to coffee/tea but ice—yes it comes in a bag. We open it & dump it right in—just as sanitary as bar ice

Flight attendant here coffee and tea is a no but Ice comes packed in a bag so it’s clean We all use it on board :)
