And then they all use the same nesting box no matter how many we provide 😂 until one is broody and then the others are like- OOOOH SPACE!

10 sqft for the run? I have 30 per chicken and they‘re bored, when they don‘t freerange. In Germany we say 100 sqft and I think it‘s well needed if they can‘t freerange

you mean 1 nesting box for 15 chickens. because that's what mine do. even though we built a massive coop and run. they are like nah one box will do. once in a while a few will use the other boxes.

Do they need to run in grass ? We also live in a town with a big back yard but lots of neighborhoods. My husband suggested a movable run that can attach to the coop ?

mine used to free range until they stopped the school busses and caused traffic jams lol. I built them a 20x10x10 run. throw in leaves cause they love to rummage through them for bugs.

I'm building the exact chicken coop right now but after trying to figure out a 63 degree nesting box roof the run roof will now be flat with a slight slope lol
