@jeeves_ny: This is a 4th generation dry cleaners guide to cleaning, whitening, and sanitizing your towels! 1) Pretreat any stains with your favorite stain removing spray. I’d recommend rubbing the product in and allowing it to sit for at least 1 hour before washing. 2) Wash as recommended by the care label, however you may want to up the heat for towels especially if you’re focusing on sanitizing. 3) I added washing boosters and oxygen bleach to the drum to improve the cleaning and whitening results. 4) I also added a high quality detergent and a rinse product (Tide Boost) to get the best clean possible. 5) If you want to take whitening and/or sanitizing a bit further soak overnight in powdered oxygen bleach and hot water. I used an immersion water heater to keep it hot. If you want to sanitize your items make sure the product specifically says sanitizing. 6) IF you soaked your garments, give them a quick rewash. 7) Dry as recommended. I use dryer balls to keep them fluffy. If you are allergic to wool try using acrylic dryer balls. Hopefully this helps you keep your towels spotless and clean! #howtocleantowels #whitentowels #sanitizetowels #cleantowels #laundry #laundryhack #homehacks
