I’m Hispanic the only way I have eaten honeycomb is munedo. I cook mine at least 3-4 hrs.but b/4 cooking I wash & boil 20 min w/baking soda to remove any smell then rinse 2-3 then cook it

My grandmother and mother would cook tripe. They would simmer I. Water for quite a long time they would also add onion, celery, garlic and bay leaf. She would also pickle some. I really liked it.
