GAC FRUIT- (Momordica cochinchinensis) ever heard of it? some other names are: baby jackfruit or cochinchin gourd. this is a medium, melon sized fruit wih a spikey orange skin and BRIGHT RED FLESH! this fruit is special for many reasons. 1) the look and color. 2) the flowers on the vine must be handpollinated for fruit. (@kumuainafarm made sure to hand pollinate hers this year thats why we got 2 fruits!!) 3)gac contains high levels of vitmain c (40x higher than ornages) beta-carotene (10x hihher than carrots) and lycopene (70x more than tomatoes!) 4) they will only have ripe fruits in december/january. 5) gac is a SUGARFREE FOOD. mixed with its high nutritional content this fruit is the BOMB!! its traditional to make a red gac stinky rice with this fruit. the fruit itself has little to no taste. this time i got a very small hint of cucumber. but other than that its just the color that is impressive!! there are HUNDREDS of benefits to the little fruit. look it up and drop a fact below 👇🏽 i dont think i got enough seeds to sell any of this one. im gonna be planting most of them.
