If you work in healthcare, you know what OPAs are (oropharyngeal airways). OPAs are used to keep the airway open in your patient. It's a simple 4-step process:
✨Measure the OPA size needed for your patient by placing it against the cheek from the corner of the lip to the ear lobe
✨Insert - turn it upside down and glide it along the roof of their mouth
✨Rotate - turn it back around as it reaches the back of their throat
✨Locate - it should sit right on the patient's lips
