You’re not imagining it, it IS harder day to day. There are many factors that cause chronic fatigue in ND people; - higher levels of inflammation; there are many emerging studies that show ND people naturally having higher inflammation markers in their blood. This means your body is often in a constant fight with itself. - information processing; ND people process information at a higher rate, meaning your brain is constantly being inundated with sensory inputs. - interoceptive challenges; ND people can have a problem with interpception, that is the ability to ‘feel’ what’s going on inside of your body like hunger or thirst or even going to the bathroom. When you have interoceptive issues you can go long periods of time without giving your body the things it needs to survive. This is not to incite doom and gloom, it’s to understand that you are not going crazy. Give yourself some grace 💜 be kind to yourself because your body is working in overdrive 🙌🏻 Take time to understand yourself, work WITH your brain 💜 #adhd #audhd #autism #bpd #puttingthebinbpd
