@thelawntools: Replying to @ShawnTech Somebody stole this video from me and got over 14 million views. My question is, How do we feel about this? Is posting other peoples videos and making money off of them… A. Stealing? B. Borrowing? C. A compliment (if they are giving credit) D. Fine - get over it you big baby. I haven’t done extensive research but something tells me in the user agreements of these apps we basically surrender the rights of the content to the company who owns the app, which means other people can share it all they want. My reasoning for thinking that is that anybody i have ever talked to who has reported the content stealing has never seemed to get the repost removed or has had the ad revenue given to them. So that leads me to my next question. Should I start reposting other people’s viral videos? Would that annoy you? I could make a LOT of money doing that… (I’m not going to start posting other people’s content. Just think it is an interesting discussion).

I say A. Even if it's technically legal, it shouldn't be. You put a lot of physical work and time into your videos, and others profit off your time 👎
