I know living alone is a huge privilege that comes with a lot of freedom and opportunity to develop the relationship you have with yourself. But behind the idealistic representation of living by yourself (you know like the dreams we were sold through movies and all the depictions of adulthood and how empowering it is) it can also involve a lot of negative feelings like loneliness, self doubt, FOMO **which is only heightened by social media comparisons and comparing yourself to your friends who are loved up, getting married, buying houses and having babies I actually really do love my own company and I like having to only rely on myself but I can get extremely lonely and like most people I get caught in that comparison trap asking inwards questions about what’s wrong with me. But anyway !! this series is not to dwell on the negatives of living alone or being single because actually, these negative emotions are literally constructed by us in our heads!! And we are going to change that because actually being solo is a f*cking amazing thing (🫡🤝🏼) that can give us so many opportunities to focus on ourselves.
