@theamysloan: Followed by advice is the worst!!!!!! I call bull sh!t!! AND, if this is the case with your teen, I can almost guarantee it’s not because you’re a better parent or have some secret ninja parenting skills! You got a real good kid there! I have learned through sharing my teen videos that teens are teens all over the world! I have one big ask, can we as parents just support one another? Can we stop passing judgement and start passing some encouragement? This parenting gig is hard, and most of us are doing our best! Loving our kids, and trying to raise productive, contributing, self sufficient humans that will one day be able to survive on their own. Y’all, that’s a big responsibility! The last thing we need is another parent tearing us down during this time! Ok I’m done with my Ted talk. Be kind out there friends!
