I've also heard the term "curling parents" trying to sweep away the problems ahead of the kid

I haven't been in school for 17 years.. if I asked my dad to try to force a teacher to boost my grade, he'd still be laughing at me to this day

I email my kids teacher every week. How else would I know if my kid is getting his work done? The teacher now makes my kid bring home his unfinished work and we work on it at home together.

What about parents of kids with pathological demand avoidance. I’m really struggling with this and understanding how removing demands is beneficial 1

anxiety up, need for control up, adults (parents and teachers) look to control the kids lives. social media makes all of us compare and try to keep up
