In March 2022, I bought a home in the country, ready to grow our family and embrace this new chapter. We were so excited to announce that we were expecting a baby girl, but not long after, our world was turned upside down. We lost our little princess, who we named ‘Heaven.’ The pain of that loss stayed with us, and I tried to stay strong for Steph while keeping the business going. But as many of you know, sometimes the weight of it all catches up to you. Late 2022 and throughout 2023 were some of the hardest months of my life, as I faced struggles with mental health that few people knew about. Through it all, I’ve seen the quiet sacrifices that parents make—holding it together on the outside, even when they’re struggling inside. Mums and dads go through so much for their families, often behind closed doors, putting their own challenges aside to support each other and show up for the people they love. It’s a journey of strength and resilience, and I’m grateful every day for the chance to grow, heal, and keep pushing forward with Steph by my side. And after every storm, there’s a rainbow. For us, that rainbow is our baby boy, Rivah, who’s brought so much light and hope back into our lives. To everyone out there navigating life’s ups and downs—whether as parents, partners, or simply as people trying to make it through tough times—just know you’re not alone. There’s strength in vulnerability, and sometimes, the hardest battles are the ones that bring us closer to the people we love.
