Seoul Salon in Koreatown, Los Angeles is known for their roaring 20s ambiance, complete with private booths, a piano, and even a Korean photo booth; but their food is the star of the show. If you go here, you MUST order the Rose Tteokbokki, which is a HUGE portion of Korean rice cakes, veggies, dumplings, and cheese. It also came with some rice and nori balls on the side to sop up all the spicy creamy saucy goodness! Other highlights for me were the Garlic Popcorn Chicken and Crab Meat Seafood Cream Pasta. Don’t skip the Watermelon Soju served inside a half melon — it was so sweet and refreshing! Seoul Salon is open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2am Friday and Saturday.
