Toilets in the US scarred me for life, first of all why is the door so small and secondly I didn’t know it would flush automatically when I stood up

Aussie toilets push from a height, US toilets drain. Aussie ones are less prone to blocking. Wider pipes too in Aus.

As a kid growing up I could never understand in movies why they'd say at restaurants to use their "Bathroom". Who takes a bath at a restaurant? 🤣🤣🤣

1 duel flush saves water.2 US toilets use the siphon system, Aust wash down system it's less problem matic. And yes we insist on privacy

The water level and design of these means that, 1 you rarely have to see your sample before you flush, the pipes are wider so they block less & overall you use less water. Also, you don’t sit in it.
