Follow @clobaremoneycoach for money tips daily! This woman is killing it! Already $1 million invested by 36 years old and completely debt-free?! Heck yes! Now should she quit her job? One of her biggest questions was if leaving her tech job’s cushy salary would be a mistake? And in my opinion— she’s earned her leave. Here’s the thing. She has kept her expenses incredibly low, and she has $1 million invested right now, not even counting her other assets. With only $2400 of expenses each month, I wonder if her passions would be able to fund her life partly or completely so she could let her investments grow. If that’s the case— she could easily retire completely with millions in the bank in 20 years. But let’s say she decided to pull out the money from her investments as she goes? Assuming she pulls out $2400 a month, with a 7% average annual return she would still have MORE in her account in 25 years than what she has now— like more than $3 million. Now granted— she may start moving some of her investments into wealth preservation mode aka further diversifying and getting more money into things like bonds. That would decrease her average annual return. So let’s say that million dollars only grows at 5% while she also withdraws about $2400 a month for her expenses? She would still be looking at more than $2 million in 25 years. So, if it were me? I’d be saying bye to that tech job so that I could go to start living the life that I want, right freaking now. She’s set a plan in place, she’s got that year emergency fund. Some things she may want to consider is a Roth conversion ladder for her investments that are in a workplace plan so she can access that money early but she can use the money in her taxable brokerage first, while she’s working on those conversion. What do you think she should do? Tell me down below! As always, this is not #financial advice. It’s just for educational purposes only and entertainment. Always consult with your financial professional if you have questions about your own individual situation. #moneytips #financetips #stockmarket #stockmarkets #stockmarketinvesting #fintok #fintoks
