I find reading english loan words impossible. They just change the syllable structure up so much the words become unrecognizable.

for me it's gone too far the other way and now where I'm confronted with a non-japanese word I don't know how to pronounce I just pronounce it in Japanese 😅

i think the reason why its to hard to spell is because when we use loanwords we keep the way words are spelled in the og language and then pronounce+

I had a tough time with words like genome which is pronounced ge/no/mu instead of ji/no/mu. also dilemma which is pronounced jirenma.
