@pataluth: Is this even real? Ermine / Hermelin I have been looking for an ermine for more than 3 years without ever seeing one. Then today it finally happened out of nowhere. I was sitting on a tree stump because I was so tired from carrying my backpack, after just a few minutes a white little face popped up behind a rock, looking right into my eyes. I was completely paralyzed and I didn’t even try to reach for my phone to record it because I was afraid that I’d scare it away. My fears were unfounded however, since this little guy wasn’t afraid of me whatsoever. I stayed for about an hour while he kept running back and forth around me in search of suitable prey, such as wood mice. He did not find any, unfortunately, but I’m sure he had better luck when I left.
