@animauxseauvageslove: Hyenas haven't had very good press but they are the most interesting animals. They have a fairly complex social structure and clans are led by an alpha female, with females being larger than males. They are the most common African carnivores and, despite what we see in movies, they are primarily hunters who also feed on scavengers. They have extremely strong jaws that surpass those of brown bears in bone-crushing ability.
