Some of my go-to stretches before any session or competition. 😁 They don’t take up much space (just make sure you’ve got enough leg room—try not to kick anyone!), and they’re perfect for getting your heart rate up, hips moving, and muscles activated. I like to pair these after a quick 5–10 min skip or jog. Do 10–15 reps per leg with no breaks between (unless you need to shake out your legs/hips…again it’s a warm up not workout 😂). Start slow, ease into the motion, and raise the intensity as your body warms up. Keep your kick height low at first, especially if the legs are feeling tight.  1️⃣ Hip Opener Kicks: Keep your hips at 180°, shoulders/hips/knees/ankles aligned. Base foot slightly turned out for balance. This locks everything in and helps you focus on proper hip opening.  2️⃣ Classic Kick-Ups: Drive the leg up, then increase intensity on the way down to activate/stretch your hamstrings.  3️⃣ Outward Rotation Kicks: Start low, increase height and speed. Play with angles to engage your hips and core.  4️⃣ Inward Rotation Kicks: Same as above, but swing in from the outside. Great for full hip mobility.  5️⃣ Hip Flexor Swings: Base leg stays locked forward, only swing the kicking leg. Should feel this in your front hip, not your hamstrings—adjust if needed. Keep it controlled, stay aligned, and enjoy the flow.
