Replying to @richestero a lot of you have been asking me how I graded my recent video that y’all really liked so here’s a detailed breakdown of my color grading process 🎨✨👇 . Before we proceed with the color grade it’s really important to discuss on the gear I used and how this was shot, which you may have seen on the last video. . I shot this with the Sony a7c in slog 3 with an ND filter. @sony @sonyalpha . Color grading breakdown 👇 in @davinciresolvestudios 1. I used the built in rec709 conversion lut for Sony davinci. 2. Adjusted the highlights shadows and mid tones of the footage to make sure the clip is evenly exposed 3. Adjusted the temp, contrast, hue , graphs, saturation, and details and did some masking for certain shots. ( ex : circle mask on the shot of taking out milk carton in order to allow viewers to focus on it ) 4. Added the effect : Glow . This allows the highlights in the shots such as the lights on the ceiling or the lights from the refrigerator sections to have a glow effect 5. Added the effect : Halation . Halation creates a bloom effect on the highlights and creates a red and orange glow around the overexposed edges. . And this is my complete breakdown of my usual color grading process🎨 .
