Netflix is taking the infamous Stanford Prison Experiment concept into reality TV. The streamer has announced a new reality series titled ‘The New Stanford Prison Experiment’, which will place 30 participants inside an actual prison, where they will be randomly divided into two groups: guards and prisoners. The participants will then be challenged to live within their assigned roles, testing how quickly people adapt to positions of power and authority when placed in an artificial prison environment.
