Samp & Beans In An Instant Pot The video I wish I had access to when I was ready to start using my Instant Pot. I receive many messages asking me to show you guys slowly how to use my IP. So when I made Samp & Lamb last week, I recorded a short video of how to cook the samp and beans and the functions I use. Let me just back up first. I received my IP as a Christmas present this past Christmas. I only opened it a month later. It was so intimidating and there was no one online who showed you stepped by step on how to use the features, so I had to figure it out after reading the manual. The sauté function allows you to sear, braise and fry. And then you use the pressure cook function for stews, soups and curries. Its really genius! And since I have opened up my IP I have only cooked a lamb curry once in my normal pots. I can’t explain to you how amazing the meat turns out. Now getting back to the Samp & Beans. - I cooked 1.5 kg Samp & Mutton. - I filled the the IP pot till the max - I selected pressure cook and cooked for 45 mins - Make sure the knob on the lid is facing sealing - When its cooled release or allow to release on its own.
