I write a 'ta-da!' List. I write down everything I do as it happens. At the end of the day I can look back and be proud of what I achieved rather than feeling over whelmed by what I didn't get done

I used to have a whiteboard on my door with my morning routine. It was basically a to do list for me to do when I got out of bed. It really helped making the whole day list shorter.
